RIP Helen Gurley Brown

We lost Helen Gurley Brown. A trailblazer, leader, and outspoken woman.

Rest in Peace, my sister.

I've Been Working with an Editor

I've been working with an editor to prepare for publication a volume of feminist essays. We have a ways to go, but wanted to update my readers. There is so much anger in the pieces that she is diffusing. I hate to have all that anger carry forward into the finished work, which is why the essays have never been published before.

The pieces were written at a particular time in my life when things were pretty rocky. I had been attacked, or what felt like it, for several months by various males in my life. In reality, I was probably learning how to assert myself and the men were pushing back, unused to my new, awakened, persona. It took a special man to help me diffuse the anger, and he will always hold a special place in my heart.

The book has no title as yet, and I hope my editor will suggest a few. Once the pieces are toned down and formatted, and she has seen the scope of work, we will choose a nice little catchy title so I can share it with you.

The book will be available in both Kindle and soft-cover versions. The Kindle version will be free for a short time. I expect the soft-cover to be at 120 pages, and priced under $20.

I'm looking for cover art, so any artists who care to submit drawings are welcome to contact me.
